First, lets check out the agility of this "flying wing". The Gotha 229 never saw combat action, and the only flying prototype crashed during a test flight, killing its pilot. I tried some bomber busting with it and my first impression a very fast bird that allows mainly wide maneuvering... no close combat narrow turns allowed. Guns are big, i get that, but when it comes to aiming I miss the tail rudder, its not so easy to align the gunsight without it.

Side view and detail of the landing gear. The general shape of the plane reminds of a swallow.

Also notice, like all Ms planes from fs2000 on, all birds have detailed interiors including landing gear bays, etc...

Different views of the very peculiar (and modern) shape of the Gotha 229. I find G-force blackouts are too frequent (and annoying - in CFS1 you could avoid it with padlock view) flying jets, but thats probably because as fighter pilot still unexperienced in jet flying I tend to make too sharp turns at high speed.

Closer looking on cockpit, turbines, intake, exhaust, traces of smoke and dirt all over the plane. You tell me what you think...
